Art conveys a civilization's inner thoughts, knowledge and culture through a visceral experience. As each artists crafts, shapes, paints and designs these pieces, they want to share thoughts to evoke a reaction. At Martin & Martin, we too want to evoke a reaction - one of intrigue and interest. Not for our work, but for the art which is displayed so each brushstroke, shaving, carving and indentation can be enjoyed exactly how the artists intended.
Light has always been a magical element for mankind. In the beginning, our species was lost without it. Over time, we learned how to create it. Martin & Martin harnesses the power of luminescence to envelop artwork and show the brilliance of color, shape and form.
Our logo is a reflection of our company and my life as an artist, designer, entrepreneur and Believer. There are many layers of meaning that run through Martin&Martin's logo design. As an artist, my work has always been influenced by the minimal aesthetic, the conceptual pursuit of order in chaos and subtle, clean simplicity that arises out of those exchanges.
The three squares of the logo and the circle form a “square”, but the circle is the “chaos” in the order or the “organic” in the grid. The three squares symbolize the fine art services division and the circle symbolizes the lighting design services division. The full composition of the logo symbolizes the culmination of the art + light in our exhibit design/fabrication division.

Even though she loved what she was doing, family brought her to Dallas in 2011. She enjoys her family, friends, home décor and antique shopping.

Susan has several years of experience in all aspects of the freight industry and found that very helpful when moving artwork over the last 13 with Masterpiece International. She always enjoyed learning how artwork was created and this was very helpful in the international transport of it. Now at Martin&Martin, Susan is glad to have a closer look at the art handling process. She is looking forward to arranging art handling services for our customers and letting the art community know about Martin and Martin Design services.
